Anyone who watched the game will realize that one should never watch a salt lake home game. The bounces were aweful and the field just sucks. A reminder of the pre-grass, pre-fieldturf playing days at giants stadium. While the current fake field at the swamp is bad, nothing could be worse then this field.
So, not sure whether the field is to blame or the players. But aside from Tony, no one really showed up and it seemed like the ghost of metro past.
What bothered me most, is what the hell are we doing subbing in a forward (martins) so late in the game when we're up 1-0. And what the hell is up with the long balls forward when we should be passing it back and forth trying to keep possession.
When Klein sold that foul to the ref outside the box, I had the feeling the would score. Just like a lot of other teams did and continue to do against us.
