The MetroStars opening day at Giants Stadium for the 2004 season included a strong defeat of DC United, the first professional goal by Freddy Adu, and plenty of good food and alcohol. The Metros are off to a great 2-0 start and are on the top of the league in the standings.

First Row Idiot attendance was nearly perfect for opening day with the only exception being Greg missing. Brian, Drew, Jason, Joey, John, Keith, Ofer, Paul, Ronen, were on hand to enjoy an excellent tailgating complete with Ronen’s special Sangria. Ronen’s son David spent some time tailgating with the crew.
